The laptop casing is firm, made out of some rubber alike material and word processing using the easy keyboard works like a charm. When it comes to processing power, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 gives you just what you need. It outperforms the similar configured MacBook Air and it’s brother the X220. When it comes to 3D mark, the X1 stands between the two brands.

The downside of the X1 we could find is the battery life, which is lower than the MacBook Air and the X220. When purchasing the additional battery slice for the X1 you can easily double your battery life.
